A glass can made from borosilicate glass.

Borosilicate glass has higher thermal and shock resistance than other types of glass , making it highly inert, and this is also the reason it is mostly used in chemical labs as test tubes and beakers because it is highly non-reactive!

Maintenance

Wash before use.

Do not use harsh abrasives or scrubs as they can scratch the glass. Don’t drop the glass.

Washable with water & mild or natural detergents, but don’t soak in water and pat with a cloth after washing.

Oil the body with raw linseed oil or tung oil, when it looks dry.

Do not store in bathroom or highly humid places.

Science

When boron trioxide is melted and fused with silica sand, it becomes inert and highly stable. Even if exposed to chemical reactants, the boron cannot escape its glassy prison, keeping you safe from its toxicity. It’s so stable that borosilicate glass is even used in nuclear reactors to prevent radiation from leaching from waste.
